well that's a lot of plastic for a natural history museum!

being in savannah this summer is making me pine for last, when i spent 9 weeks in manhattan working and learning at the center for book arts. one of the most memorable experiences was my trip to the museum of natural history. i was most excited to see the dinosaur fossils, in all of their glory, and visit the hayden planetarium. i wasn't expecting to see so so so many representations of cultures and animals all encased in their plastic habitats. they were absolutely amazing and detailed that i wanted to have one for my apartment. i'd keep my moose herd next to my bookcase.
