i have recently aquired a hefty amount of "aunt lydia's collection specials", which are tiny paperback catalogs of knitting, crocheting projects circa the mid seventies. i've gutted all the boring parts, and filled them with blank journal pages, and kept the sassy project examples. I binded them single signature saddle stitch style, and hot damn, they are delicious. what i would have given for that giant duck! 
i'm calling these bad boys gene, raymond and stefan.
